Copy some text, translate it in the notch, and the result goes straight back on your clipboard. On macOS 15 and later it uses Apple Translation, on your Mac. On macOS 14, or for a language Apple doesn’t cover, it uses Claude Code, so you’ll need that installed.
What it does

On macOS 14, Translate uses Claude Code. Claude Code is comes with a paid Claude plan: install it and Matte finds it.
